The legislation of specific relevance to electrical maintenance is the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974, the Management of Health & Safety at Work Regulations 1999, the Electricity at Work Regulations 1989, the Workplace (Health, Safety and Welfare) Regulations 1992 and the Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998. By PAT testing your appliances in your workplace you, as an employer, will be complying to the above by making sure that the electrical appliances that your staff use are in a safe condition. Fire Alarm Installation, Maintenance and Testing We can design and install fire alarm installations in accordance to the British standards: BS 5839-1:2002+A2:2008 and BS 5839-6:2004.
